Obituary of Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor Moulin

Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor Moulin entered eternal life and into the arms of Jesus on August 27, 2023. She was born August 21, 1934, to Georgia Jeannette Mullet and Albert Seymour Taylor in Westwego, Louisiana. She was predeceased by both parents, her brothers, Charles, George and Earl Taylor and her sister Ruth Taylor Ritchie, son-in-law Paul Kupersmith, as well as 6 nieces and nephews and 1 great-niece. She is survived by her precious husband and love of her life Bob. They were married for 69 Years. She is also survived by her children: Tara and husband Joe Arciniega; Chris and wife Danene Moulin; Lisa Moulin Kupersmith; Greg and wife Danita Moulin; grandchildren Emily Arciniega and husband Jesse Lashbrook; Adam and wife Melissa Arciniega; Alex Arciniega and wife Courtney; Michael & wife Becca Moulin and Adopted son Elijah; Matthew and wife Rachelle Moulin; Kelsey Moulin and husband Blake Martin; Forrest and wife Letitia Moura Moulin; Great-grandchildren, Landry Grace and Levi Joseph Lashbrook, Jessica Lynn and Faith Elizabeth Moulin, Anna Gabriella Moura-Moulin and Berkleigh Elizabeth Martin.

She is also survived by niece Carolyn Ritchie Galluscio and husband Dr. Eugene Galluscio along with their son Tony and his family. She was educated by the Sisters of Mount Carmel in both grade school in Westwego, La. and high school in New Orleans, La. She received her secretarial certificate from Soule’ Business College. She was a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher at Mary Immaculate School, where she taught art and music for four years. After getting her B.S. in Elementary Education, Early Childhood and Language and Learning Disabilities, she taught Special Ed in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch school district for the next five years while working on her M.Ed. as an Educational Diagnostician and Supervisor. She continued her education at TWU by getting a second Masters’ Degree in Counseling & Guidance. She was a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and was in Private Practice for over 40 years. She was also a certified Spiritual Director, a Retreat Director, Workshop Leader in both spirituality as well as therapy, a Supervisor and a court-appointed expert for the Dallas Diocesan Marriage Tribunal. She was the author of three books and co-authored a third book. Liz also trained Spiritual Directors at Perkins School of Theology at SMU as well as training Directors at Montserrat Retreat House, where she was gave Retreats for 17 years. Liz & Bob moved to Farmers Branch in 1964 and were very active in their church Mary Immaculate until they retired to Christus, St. Joseph Village in 2021 in Coppell. Liz’s favorite hobbies were painting, antiquing, writing, reading and enjoying time with her family whom she loved “to the moon and back!”
